Emily Kieliszewski

Board President

Emily is passionate about empowering leaders and caring for communities across Michigan. With a deep commitment to people and their well-being, she brings extensive experience in leadership development, nonprofit governance, and public service to her leadership as President of NAMI Michigan. In her professional role with the Michigan Municipal League, she directs statewide leadership and education initiatives, including programs that elevate women in local government leadership and expand opportunities for elected and appointed officials in communities across the state. A graduate of Michigan State University and the Michigan Political Leadership Program, Emily also contributes to her community as an election volunteer. She remains deeply connected to her hometown of Alpena, where she continues to support the work of NAMI Northeast Michigan, the affiliate her parents helped to found, and she deeply values the affiliates across the state who carry out NAMI’s mission at the ground level.
